Who doesn’t love the traditional celebrations that make up St. Patrick’s Day? Saint Patrick is one of the Patron Saints of Ireland and the day is traditionally celebrated with a feast and national holiday in Ireland.
Celebrating all things Irish – laughter, fun and of course, Guinness!!! Special events are taking place in London throughout the week of March 17th. Along with the religious aspects of the Saint’s day, the festival is traditionally celebrated with ‘wearing of the green’ and shamrocks. The biggest of the festivities take place in Ireland but St Patrick’s Day is widely celebrated by Irish ex-pats around the world. London has marked the day with public celebrations since 2002 and these celebrations attract huge crowds of revelers.
