Pearly Kings and Queens Harvest Festival

Celebrate the harvest with London’s Pearly Kings and Queens, decked in their pearl-button finery, as they stage traditional entertainment before parading to St Mary Le Bow Church this 25th of Sept.

The event is free but harvest festival offerings (typically of non-perishable goods and toiletries) are welcome and will be donated to the Whitechapel Mission.

Dressed in their best dark suits covered in hundreds of bright pearl buttons, the Pearly Kings and Queens of London are a charming and unforgettable sight. If you fancy becoming a Pearly, you’ll have to marry into one of the original families, it’s a hereditary title, much like the Royal Family.

The free festival starts in the afternoon at 1pm at Guildhall Yard so what are you waiting for?!
